Bio:
Shatter Scar was the former leader of the smilodon clan and also served as Ice Fire's mentor. He was responsible for expanding clan territory beyond the Gold Plains, where many of the larger game were known to migrate during the sun-season. Not only did this provide more food for the clan's bellies, but it provided valuable hunting experience and formed closer bonds among clanmates.

In the many seasons that followed, Shatter Scar proved himself to be a great leader and a formidable foe to the dire wolves. He always made sure his clan came first... and that the dire wolves were never a direct threat during the worst of the sun-cycle.

However, not all clan cats supported Shatter Scar. A young and ambitious smilodon by the name of Karduus believed that Shatter Scar was weak by not be-ridding the clan territory of the dire wolves. Karduus proposed to his clan that he should be the rightful leader and that Shatter Scar should be overthrown for not taking care of the problem that had haunted them for so long. Although not many smilodon supported Karduus, the hotheaded male still caused quite a stirr among his clanmates. His blood-brother, Tusk Blades was among his strongest supporters.

Time passed, and the clan respected Shatter Scar none less than they had previous seasons. But Karduss was far from backing down. He often paced about the territory, his angry mumbling becoming more incoherent throughout the moons that came and went. He became obsessed. Not even his newborn son could quell his rage. Eventually, it all became too much for Karduus. In a fit of madness, he attacked Shatter Scar while the clan was on a hunting exhibition. He hoped to break the clan leader's neck... but instead, ended up breaking his own when his clumsy assault ended in him tumbling down the side of a steep ravine. To the day he passed from the world, Shatter Scar never forgot the maddened grin that was frozen on Karduus's bloody muzzle.

Sun-cycles passed without much trouble... and Shatter Scar focused more than ever on the training of the clan's young. He particularly took an interest in a young she-cub whom he had named Ice Fire--she had a special gift from the Elements themselves... and knew that she would eventually take his place as leader of the clan. She was an adventures one... and alongside Picea, the two got into mischief of all sorts. But the other cub was the one that worried him: Kauri. At such a young age, he was already showing signs of his father's great ambition. Kauri was his father's image... almost like a copy of Karduus himself. Shatter Scar hoped that the cub would not follow in his father's footsteps.

If some of you remember (and for those of you who played spore), Shatterstar was Flamestar's mentor in my Spore Adventure series "Flamestar Rising". Shatter Scar is pretty much the same character, but I wanted to change the names around a bit.
